Last week security agents and parkgoers got a scare when a man was arrested while attempting to bring two firearms into the Hotel New York at the Disneyland Paris Resort. According to BFM TV, the 28-year-old man has now been sentenced to sixth months in prison. However, he was released to his mother’s home where he will serve under house arrest instead and be monitored using an electronic bracelet.
In addition to the house arrest, the man faces probation including the inability to own a firearm for five years. He is also banned from visiting Disneyland Paris property.
