Flo Rida and Laura Marano to Perform at Radio Disney Music Awards

Radio Disney has announced that Flo Rida and Laura Marano are set to perform at the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards.

Flo Rida is nominated for “So Happy – Best Song That Makes You Smile (presented by Cheddar Goldfish crackers)” for “I Don’t Like It, I Love It,” which had a 15-week run on Radio Disney’s “Top 30.” His latest single, “My House” has spent 17 weeks on the Radio Disney charts, including a week at number one.

Marano, best known for starring as singer and songwriter Ally Dawson in the hit Disney Channel comedy series “Austin & Ally,” also hosts “For The Record With Laura Marano,” a weekly show on Radio Disney that takes listeners through her experience recording her first solo pop album with Big Machine Records. The 2016 RDMA will mark the first broadcast performance of her debut single “Boombox.”

Voting for the 2016 RDMA is open through Sunday, April 10 at Disney.com/RDMA, the Radio Disney app, Google OneBox and via Radio Disney’s Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Winners will be announced at the 2016 RDMA on Saturday, April 30 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with a two-hour television special “Disney Channel Presents the 2016 Radio Disney Music Awards” originating from the event to be presented Sunday, May 1 (7:00-9:00 p.m. EDT) on Disney Channel.
