When the Summer Games in Rio come to an end the real sporting drama begins! Step inside the lives of two-time world cheerleading champions, The Great White Sharks, as they battle through an intense cheer season in an effort to keep their championship crown. Freeform presents this all-access pass both on and off the mat with their new original series “Cheer Squad,” airing every weeknight (10:00 – 11:00 p.m. EDT, Monday – Friday) from Monday, August 22 through Friday, September 2 2, on Freeform.

During the Summer Games, get your extra dose of competition with a special preview of “Cheer Squad.” Multiple episodes of the series will be available for fans to watch on the Freeform app and on video on demand from August 12 through August 21, before the network premiere.

The Great White Sharks are a sisterhood, there for each other through first loves, new jobs, bad breakups, and everything in between. But they are also elite athletes, idolized by thousands and members of one of the best all-star cheerleading team in the world. “Cheer Squad” will follow the two-time World Cheerleading Champions on the long road to defending their title as they try to balance life off the mat with the all-consuming battle to stay on top.

Monday, August 22 – Series Premiere
“Building a New Dream Team” – Hot off the heels of the World Cheerleading Championships, The Great White Sharks must build a new dream team. Seasoned veterans and fresh faces face off in open tryouts as they attempt to earn a coveted spot.

Tuesday, August 23
“Standing Out and Fitting In” – With a new team roster, the Sharks head to the super elite Hot Shots skills camp in Miami. But, the newly minted team is struggling to perform. Can they pull it together and prove they are worthy of the invite?

Wednesday, August 24
“Summer Heat” – The Sharks are performing for the first time in front of thousands of football fans during a Toronto Argonauts game. After which their coach wrestles with the toughest decision to date…which player will lose their spot and become the alternate?

Thursday, August 25
“Showcase Showdown” – The Sharks are performing at Chomp Down, their first major event of the season and the whole globe will be watching thanks to social media. Can they deliver a heart-stopping routine that’s worthy of their World Championship reputation?

Friday, August 26
“Stage Fright” – A blow out between Coach Ali and her veterans, a shocking injury and a rink full of distractions threatens to ruin the Sharks first competition of the season.

Monday, August 29
“Desperate Measures” – With a big showcase looming, Coach Ali recruits a former star, the veterans take teambuilding to the extreme and the bickering Twins attempt to help Nubs prepare for her prom.

Tuesday, August 30
“Texas Stars” – The Sharks are in Dallas defending their title at one of the world’s largest cheer events while the Twins challenge Knoxy to their own high stakes competition, Dani is surprised by some unexpected guests.

Wednesday, August 31
“Rock Bottom” – Tattoos, a donkey sanctuary and a radical new approach to coaching are all part of the last ditch effort by the Sharks to bounce back before their next big competition.

Thursday, September 1
“Romance and Retribution” – The Sharks face an old rival at Nationals as Nubs finds new love on a blind date. Meanwhile, when LA surprises her boyfriend Josh with an extravagant gift, the gesture backfires.

Friday, September 2 – Season Finale
“Three-peat?!” – The Sharks are in Orlando chasing a third world title. But first, Knoxy must face the music with her Mom while the Twins complete an Orlando bucket list. And then it all comes down to one final performance.
