Man Carrying a Firearm Arrested at Magic Kingdom for Impersonating an Officer

WFTV reports that a man was arrested Monday at the entrance to Magic Kingdom after allegedly trying to bring a firearm into the park by claiming he was a police officer. Kevin Webb attempted to enter the park around 8 a.m. yesterday. When asked by security to pass through a metal detector, Webb apparently flashed a badge and insisted he was a police officer. Soon after, he backtracked and said it was a retired officer.

Calls to his former department in Arkansas indicated that Webb had not been an officer for several years and should not have credentials in his possession. Webb had also allegedly been fired from the department.

Webb was booked on charges of impersonating an officer and carrying a concealed firearm.
