Twenty-five years after the animated classic Beauty and the Beast was released, a highly anticipated live-action remake is now just around the corner. Of course this is not by accident and Disney is taking advantage by promoting the new film right alongside the original as it celebrates a major milestone.
Today Disney has released a teaser sneak peek at the 2017 film while announcing that the 25th anniversary Blu-ray will contain a longer look at the movie:
Beauty and the Beast Walt Disney Signature Collection Edition will be available on Digital HD September 6th with the Blu-ray coming September 20th. The new Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson will arrive in theatres March 17th, 2017.
