The long-running Frontierland act, The Notorious Banjo Brothers & Bob, will end its Magic Kingdom run on October 1. Their final show is scheduled for 4:20.
It is not uncommon for entertainment to change as Disney transitions into a new fiscal year. The end of their run may also be associated with the upcoming The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History which debuts the following day.
