As part of Disney’s SmartPackaging Initiative, which is a program dedicated to creating environmentally conscious product packaging to inspire the toy industry to make more Earth-friendly choice, the box that holds this Moana doll both comes from recycled material but can also be used in a fun way.

The doll’s box is made with 70% recycled paper, printed with vegetable-based inks, and was designed without tape or glue. In addition to making it easier than ever to recycle, the box itself can be turned into a boat inspired by Moana’s journey, providing an added element of fun for parents and kids.
