According to the Orange County Register, the Disneyland Resort will begin its new security checkpoint arrangement this Thursday. Now guests will be screen before arriving at Downtown Disney, with checkpoints placed at the Mickey and Friends Parking Structure and both sides of the ESPN Zone. Disney hopes that the new arrangement will not only increase the security of the Downtown Disney district but also make it easier for guests to get to and from the parks.

Currently, the checkpoints on the other side of the esplanade where the Toy Story buses unload will remain unchanged.
