Today, StarWars.com officially announced the title of Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. As previously announced, the film is written and directed by Rian Johnson (Brick, Looper) and produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Ram Bergman and executive produced by J.J. Abrams, Jason McGatlin, and Tom Karnowski. Star Wars: The Last Jedi will open in theatres December 15th, 2017.
