It seems the hackers behind the recent release of Netflix’s Orange is the New Black have made good on their threat to ABC. Variety reports that The Dark Overlord has uploaded eight episodes of the upcoming show Steve Harvey’s Funderdome to Pirate Bay. A note accompanying the upload read, “Time to play another round. We’re following through on our threats as we always do… If you prefer your meat bloody, we’re serving it bloody as can be. We’re bringing another piece from the world of unaired mainstream media content.” Disney did not immediately respond to Variety’s request for comment.
Interesting, this incident comes just weeks after Disney CEO Bob Iger reported that the company was being threatened by hackers claiming to have stolen an upcoming film from the company. Disney refused to pay and Iger later said he had concluded the threat was a hoax.
Steve Harvey’s Funderdome premieres June 11th on ABC.
