Walt Disney World’s Minnie Van Service to Be Powered By Lyft

In recent weeks, we’ve learned a lot about Walt Disney World’s announced Minnie Van point-to-point transportation service, but it was still unclear how guests would summon these vehicles… until now. Today Lyft announced that the Minnie Van service would be powered by them, with guest booking their Cast Member-driven vehicles via the Lyft app. In a statement, Lyft’s co-founder and president, John Zimmer, said, “Playing a part in a family’s experience at the most magical place on earth is a dream come true.”

As previously reported, a pilot program for the Minnie Van service is currently being conducted for guests at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts. Each vehicle will hold six passengers including two car seats. Currently, each ride will cost a flat fee of $20 and take guests to any location on property. Additionally, Disney announced that the service will be available from 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m daily, but that is subject to change.
