Broadway’s “Frozen” Stars Featured in New Issue of Vanity Fair

In just a couple of months, Disney Theatrical’s Frozen will take the stage at the  St. James Theatre in New York City. With that big day just ahead, show stars Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, and Jelani Alladin have been featured in the current issue of Vanity Fair, on stands now. The piece also features an exclusive photo shot by world-renowned photographer Andrew Eccles. The three actors were photographed in two-time Tony and Olivier Award-winning scenic and costume designer Christopher Oram’s designs for the production outdoors on a dramatic mountain vista in the Rocky Mountain town of Leadville, Colorado earlier this year while the production played its out-of-town tryout at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. Check out this behind the scenes clip of the shoot:

This Broadway-bound Frozen, a full-length stage work told in two acts, is the first and only incarnation of the tale that expands upon and deepens its indelible plot and themes through new songs and story material from the film’s creators; in fact, this new stage production features more than twice as much music as the film.  Like the Disney Theatrical Broadway musicals that have come before it, it is a full evening of theatre running over two hours.

Frozen will join Disney Theatrical hits Aladdin and The Lion King on Broadway, beginning previews at the St. James Theatre on Thursday, February 22nd, 2018 and opening Thursday, March 22nd, 2018. Tickets are currently on sale through December 30th, 2018 and are available at FrozenTheMusical.com, the St. James Theatre box office or by calling the Disney on Broadway hotline at (866) 870-2717.
