ABC has pulled The Mayor from their schedule. It has been slotted to return from its winter hiatus next Tuesday. ABC has scheduled a rerun of Modern Family in its place. The show has aired nine of its thirteen produced episodes. It is unknown what will replace the show or when the unaired episodes might air or appear on ABC.com.
The Mayor received critical acclaim and a fair share of promotion. Despite this, it struggled to find an audience. ABC has two comedies that are yet to premiere; Alex Inc. and Splitting Up Together.
