Disney CEO Bob Iger Dedicates Disney Murals at Blank Children’s Hospital

The Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Bob Iger was on hand to dedicate a series of murals featuring various Disney characters at the Blank Children’s Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa this week.

  • The Disney-themed murals are on display in the hallway entrance to the hospital’s Pediatric Emergency Room.
  • The murals feature more than 100 characters spanning the history of Disney’s animated films.
  • Iger also announced Iger an additional donation of $100,000 to support the hospital’s child life department.

  • Walt had Disney artists paint classic Disney characters on a mural for the hospital previously. Those paintings have been carefully preserved and are still on display.
