“Schoolhouse Rock” Creator Bob Dorough Passes Away at 94

Bob Dorough, who created the classic show Schoolhouse Rock, has passed away. He was 94.

  • According to CNN, Dorough penned his first Schoolhouse Rock song after a New York advertising executive approached him in 1971, asking him to set the multiplication tables to music for his sons.
  • That tune would become “Three’s a Magic Number.”
