Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter to be Enhanced with Snowfall at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the addition of glistening snowfall to the holiday festivities of Christmas at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

  • The addition of snowfall will enhance the already dazzling holiday offerings of Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, including:
    • Holiday songs from the Frog Choir
    • Special custom-made Christmas ornaments
    • Newly introduced holiday-themed fare and hot Butterbeer
    • The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle projection show
  • Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will take place daily from November 17, 2018 through January 6, 2019.

More coming to Universal Studios Hollywood:

  • Grinchmas will also return to Universal Studios Hollywood this holiday season.
  • This holiday Who-lebration will include:
    • A 60-foot tall whimsical Grinchmas tree
    • A musical performance from Marta May Who-vier and the Who Dolls
    • A capella concerts from The Who-liday Singers
  • “Grinchmas” will take place weekends on December 1-2 and 8-9, and daily from December 14 through December 30, 2018.

Other holiday offerings:

  • A crew of very merry and mischievous Minions at “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and the adjoining “Super Silly Fun Land.”
  • A spectacular 40-foot tall Christmas tree with 200,000 LED icicles choreographed to the lights and sounds of the season on Universal CityWalk.
  • Holiday-themed fountain shows displaying over 230 individual power jets, red and green LED lights and an array of holiday-themed music.
