Man Allegedly Exposed to Toxic Fumes at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort

 Couple is suing Disney after the husband was allegedly exposed to toxic fumes during a stay at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort, according to the Pennsylvania Record.

  • Gregory A. and Mary Ann S. Mihalko filed a complaint against the Walt Disney Company regarding their 2015 stay at the resort, accusing the company of negligence.
  • According to the complaint, the guests’ sink became clogged and an employee used Arrow Adhesives PVC solvent cement to repair the pipes.
  • The plaintiff allegedly suffered an allergic reaction from the toxic fumes from this product.
  • The HVAC system in Mihalko’s room stopped working and when he returned the fumes had gotten worse, according to the complaint.
  • Because of this, the plaintiff allegedly suffered severe and debilitating injuries.
  • The couple is seeking damages for the incident, covering all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs.
