Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley took to his Instagram account today to share some design details for the revamped Club Cool that will be reopening at EPCOT this summer.
- Riddley shared some information regarding the design of the floor for the new Club Cool.
- “We carefully selected colors and aggregates to create three unique terrazzo finishes for the new Club Cool,” Riddley’s post says.
- Riddley explains that terrazzo is a type of floor that allows for the Imagineers to pick colors and textures that will feel like EPCOT.
- A touch of Coca-Cola will also be incorporated into the new floor.
- “We are bringing pieces of Coca-Cola products into the materials of the floor itself!!” Riddlye’s post continues. “This terrazzo will incorporate recycled Coca-Cola green glass chips that will capture light and bring the color and connection underfoot.”
- It’s about more than just the look though, as Riddley also explained the green features of this new floor.
- “This terrazzo is also distinctive in that it uses a natural binder, made up of biodegradable materials,” he says. “These beautiful floor finishes not only create a branded aesthetic for Club Cool, but further emphasizes both Disney and Coca-Cola’s commitment to sustainability and protecting our environment – perfectly fitting in EPCOT.”

- Adjacent to Creations Shop, Club Cool Hosted by Coca-Cola will be a sort of reimagining of the fan-favorite experience.
- Guests will still be able to explore tasty drinks from around the world, but the space will also feature some “new magic” when it reopens.
