Happy Avengers Campus opening day! D23, The Official Disney Fan Club, shared a special video from Disney California Adventure checking out the new land with interviews and more.
Hosts Sheri Alzeerah and Jeffrey Epstein spoke with some of the Imagineers behind the new land while experiencing the attractions, characters, and new food offerings available for Guests to enjoy starting today.
- Jeffrey and Sheri started off the special showing clips of the Spider-Man stunt show that takes place in Avengers Campus and had a little chat with Spidey himself.
- Scot Drake, Portfolio Creative Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering, stopped by to talk about the incredible new land and the technology in the new attraction, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, letting Guests interact with everything they see, including opening doors and web items as they help clean up the mess that Peter gets everyone into with Spider-Bots.
- Avengers Campus is interconnected with the Campus being created in Disneyland Paris in addition to Stark Expo at Hong Kong Disneyland, and will allow Imagineers to start making references with future Campuses around the world, as they continue to build on the universe.
- Chef John State, Culinary Director at the Disneyland Resort then talked about all the delicious food Guests will be able to get, including a look at Shawarma Palace, and various food at Pym Test Kitchen. Chef John’s top 3 offerings are the Quantum Pretzel, Not so Little Chicken Sandwich, and Impossible™ Spoonful.
- You can find graffiti with Miles’ name, reserved parking spots, themed lockers, and more as you explore.
