Play ball! The Disney Spring Training program for high school and college teams will return in March 2022 giving teams a chance to train like the pros.
What’s Happening:
- After an extended suspension of programs, Disney Sports has announced it will relaunch the Disney Spring Training program in 2022.
- Starting next spring, high school and college softball and baseball teams can return to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex for a variety of offseason training experience at the world famous resort.
- Youth athletes can work out like the pros for a week at Disney’s sports complex in Florida, and in many cases, teams will train on the same fields and ballparks as the pros, as well as take part in speed and agility clinics.
- Disney Spring Training runs from March 13th-April 20th in 2022.
- The program will have some new features, including more flexible week-long hotel and itinerary options and a streamlined scheduling process.
- In between training, team-bonding opportunities will be available, including experiences at Disney’s various theme parks and water parks.
- Disney Spring Training will return with a focus on health and safety. Teams can register for the 2022 Disney Spring Training program at ESPN Wide World of Sports website starting in August.

- The final rounds of the 2021 Scripps National Spelling Bee will be hosted in person at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on July 8th.
- Just today, Disney announced that Jon Stewart will be hosting the 2021 Department of Defense Warrior Games opening and closing ceremonies.
