DCA Construction
Construction on Disney's California Adventure keeps moving along at a brisk pace. Unfortunately, with the expanded construction at the Disneyland entrance, the lookout tower next to the preview center had to be taken down. The pictures below are mostly of the Paradise Pier district of DCA, the section that is furthest along. In the other districts steel frames in various stages of completion dominate.

Across the street at the Disneyland Hotel, the entire area from West Street back to the Sierra Tower has been leveled. That includes the Monorail Cafe, Neon Cactus, the old Goofy's Kitchen, Mickey's Corner and the large swimming pool.

To the left is the Sierra tower. At the far right is the Monorail beam. In
between used to be a pool, Monorail Cafe, Neon Cactus, stores and
administration. Soon it will be Downtown Disney

Upcoming Events
There are two events coming up at Disneyland over the next few weeks that all fans should be aware of. Both have been mentioned already on LaughingPlace.com, so here I'll just link to what's already been written.
