With just a few days to go until the debut of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord on Disney+, a new featurette is taking a look at Maul's journey so far.

What's Happening:

  • While Darth Maul may have started out as the apprentice of the future Emperor Palpatine, he was destined to become so much more.
  • That story is explored in a new featurette touting the imminent debut of Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord.
  • Maul's journey through the galaxy is explored, from his supposed death in The Phantom Menace, to his reclaiming of power in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and beyond – the featurette takes us up to where we find Maul in Shadow Lord.

  • Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord presents fans with a pulpy adventure that finds Maul plotting to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire. There, he crosses paths with a disillusioned young Jedi Padawan who may just be the apprentice he is seeking to aid him in his relentless pursuit for revenge.
  • Sam Witwer returns as the voice of Maul, reprising his role from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels
