Photos: Fun and Spooky Decor Takes Over the Parks as Halloween Time Arrives at the Disneyland Resort

Explore some of our favorites!

It's late August at the Disneyland Resort so you know what that means - it's Halloween Time! As the months-long event descends upon the Disneyland Resort, officially kicking off this weekend, special themed Halloween decor is featured throughout both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, as well as the Downtown Disney District. Check out some photos of our favorites!

Buena Vista Street

While Buena Vista Street truly comes alive at night during Halloween Time, with a beautiful shade of purple taking over the lighting and the whole area, there's still plenty to see during the day - including the favorite statue of the Headless Horseman that gets installed annually near Elias & Co.

On the opposite end of Buena Vista Street, we have the entrance of the park, with the signature spookster himself Oogie Boogie towering over the gates.

Cars Land

Haul-O-Ween returns to Cars Land, with all of Radiator Springs getting in on the fun once again. Back are the signature spooky faces on the structures of the Cozy Cone, parody movie posters, and plenty of other fun festive delights, all with that Cars theme.

Main Street U.S.A.

Across the Esplanade, guests can walk in to Disneyland Park and on Main Street U.S.A. under same familiar looking pumpkins. Not just because they look like some of our favorite characters, but because they have been a fan-favorite year after year during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. Once inside the park, the Pumpkins are everywhere, as the residents of Main Street U.S.A. are once again decorating with jack-o-lanterns throughout the town. If the pumpkins throughout Main Street aren't enough, be sure to partake in Pluto's Pumpkin pursuit.

Elias and Co.

Back at Disney California Adventure there are two stores that get in on all the Halloween fun that we enjoy, with Elias and Co. celebrating some classic spooky short films in the window displays, before finding more festive fun inside.

Gone Hollywood

Halloween Decor is the name of the game at Gone Hollywood, just around the corner from Elias and Co. in Hollywood Land. This store takes on a look that is more treats than trick with an aesthetic that celebrates the candy-grabbing part of the holiday.
