Video: A Musical Celebration of Coco Returns to Disney California Adventure for Halloween Time 2026

Don't look toward where you might be used to the show starting from, though.

A fan-favorite performance has returned to Disney California Adventure as part of the annual Halloween Time offerings.

What's Happening:

  • A Musical Celebration of Coco has returned to Disney California Adventure as part of the parks Plaza De La Familia and Halloween Time festivities.
  • In the context of the show, the performance is a show put on by a troupe of storytellers who share the story of Miguel and his family, as seen in the hit Pixar Animation Studios film, Coco.
  • The performance is a lively one, filled with music from the hit film brought to life in front of Paradise Garden Grill at the park near Goofy's Sky School.
  • While the show itself isn't new, returning after a number of years at the park - there are some notable operational differences.
  • Appropriately enough as the area the show used to start from - the parade gate near Incredicoaster - is currently seeing a lot of work for a Coco-themed ride, the show now starts near the Corn Dog Castle, making its way to the entrance of Plaza de la Familia where the performance takes place.
  • Check out the 2026 iteration of the show in our video below.

  • That said, if the last time you saw the show was before 2024, then there are some big changes that you might spot.
  • Notably, the inclusion of talented Mariachi performers have been removed and a second, female vocalist has been added to the show.
  • Instead of just retelling Miguel's story, the focus is now much more about celebrating the bonds of family through Miguel's journey and the songs from the movie.
