New to the Flower and Garden Festival this year is the Space Garden. Considered a "futuristic" garden with 40-foot by 13-foot spacenet for the kids to climb.

Opening weekends special guest was Paul James, host of HGTV's Gardening by the Yard. Each Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11a and 2p various garden personalities offer presentations and answer gardening questions.Throughout Flower and Garden will welcome Eric Grissell author of Insects and Gardens, artist and designer Judi Betts, Take a Walk author Jane Kirkland, Tabletop Gardens author Rosemary McCreary, Guerlain perfume specialist Richard Johnson and others.

In the Tricks of the Trade exhibit, another new feature to the Flower and Garden Festival this year, guests get a "behind the scenes" look at how Disney's horticulturists create some of their garden magic. These are developing Minnie and Mickey topiaries.
