This week, as part of Limited Time Magic, the Magic Kingdom is celebrating the “Dog Days of Summer” with a dance party in Tomorrowland. But as there are only about 20 days of summer left, I thought I would point out some other Disney ways to celebrate canines.
Petco’s Star Wars Pet Fans Collection: Petco has a new collection that will allow your furry friends to celebrate the recent Lucasfilm aquasition. Want a Chewie chew toy? Yoda dog headband want you? Maybe you want to give your pet the Princess Leia cinnabun hairdo. I know some folks were disappointed that more Star Wars news was not revealed at the D23 Expo, but who cares about Episode VII when you can have a Darth Vader Dog Hoodie
Dog with a Blog: Catch Disney Channel’s best show with some great episodes that are airing over the weekend including the episode “Guess Who’s a Cheerleader”. Who needs Air Bud when you have Stan as a mascot.
Georgia at Clemson: Watch the Georgia Bulldogs take on Clemson Tigers as part of ABC’s Saturday Night Football. I guess I have to root for Georgia in this one considering they allowed me to find an ABC broadcast that fits this dog themed article.
Super Buddies: Disney released their latest Buddies film. You can read my review here. But I’ll give you a hint. I liked it more than I liked Lone Ranger.
As Disney’s summer season comes to a close we may miss the big blockbuster films, the late park hours but we have so much to look forward to as we enter the fall. The parks are celebrating Halloween, Monday Night Football returns to ESPN, and of course, Shark Tank Week is coming up on ABC!
