Those voyaging on Pirates of the Carribean at Magic Kingdom may notice an enhanced diversity among the characters that reside in the attraction. Recently the ride added some Audio-Animatronics that are of color. This includes both pirates and townspeople.
While this may seem like somewhat of a surprising move, it’s important to remember that the politically incorrect attraction has seen many changes over the years in an effort to fix that reputation. Most notably, having the females chase food-stealing men as opposed to pirates chasing after the women.
