Refreshed Disney Magic Oceaneer Club Updated with Club Disney Junior

The Disney Magic Oceaneer Club has made a big change for its littlest guests. During the March 2018 dry dock, the Mickey Mouse room was transformed into Club Disney Junior. We were on the first voyage after dry dock, March 9th, 2018, and we were able to get pictures of the updated club.

The Oceaneer Club, along with the adjoining Oceeneer Lab, are reserved for guests 3 to 12. In general, younger kids enjoy the Club and older kids enjoy the lab. But as long as both are open, kids are free to move from side to side via a hallway. Throughout the cruise, one side or the other is often in “Open House” mode, meaning kids can be inside with their parents. During these times, the other side remains open for kids only and the hallway is sealed off.

For older “kids”, the Disney Magic (and all other Disney Cruise ships) have Edge for ages 11 to 14 and Vibe for ages 14 to 17. All of these are included in the cost of a cruise. For children under three, the ships have Small World Nursery where they can be watched for an hourly fee.

The biggest changes in the recent dry dock is the opening of Rapunzel’s Royal Table (replacing Carioca’s), a remodeled Cove Cafe in the adult area,  an updated Rainforest Room at Senses Spa and a few other minor changes.
