Disneyland (Mini) Update — Matterhorn FastPass Machines, Peter Pan Merch

Following all of the excitement surrounding the grand opening of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney’s California Adventure and the debut of the Skyline Lounge Experience in Tomorrowland, the Disneyland Resort has been a bit quiet on the update front. That said, there are a few new things to discuss, including the ongoing popularity of the aforementioned new ride:

Not only is Mission: BREAKOUT! attracting long lines throughout the day but the morning rush for FastPasses has regularly required backstage areas to be opened (as you can see above). Needless to say, if you’re looking to help free the Guardians, you’ll likely have to invest a bit of time.

Speaking of FastPasses, over on the other side of the esplanade, permanent FastPass machines for the classic Matterhorn have now been installed:

These new machines replace the temporary kiosks that were in place when the attraction added FastPass in April. Nearby, a new directional sign has also debuted:

With the weather in Southern California starting to warm, guests are also spending more time in air conditioned gift shops. While there, they may come across some of these fun Peter Pan-themed items:

But perhaps the cutest new piece of merchandise is this dancing Baby Groot doll you can see in action:

Of course, you can find full-grown Groot in the flesh… er, wood?… over at DCA as well.

That’ll do it for this mini Disneyland Resort update but stay tuned for more soon!
