Hundreds of lucky Disney Parks Blog readers were lucky enough to have a chance to attend the Galactic Meet-Up held at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure.

The night started with a fast check-in and, of course, a gift before heading into the theater and being greeted by the ever fun Erin Glover, Editorial Content Director, Disneyland Resort.

After giving us the plan for the evening she introduced the featured panelists:
- Capt. Mike Foreman – Former NASA astronaut
- Dr. Kimberly Ennico Smith – NASA Astrophysicist
- Stephen Wacker – Vice President of Development, TV and New Media, Marvel Entertainment
- John Mauro – Regional Executive Producer, Walt Disney Imagineering
- Amy Jupiter – Executive Media Producer, Walt Disney Imagineering
Once the panel had entertained us it was time to move outside for dessert and all the rides on Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark.
The Monsters After Dark overlay is really so much fun and it is very much a different ride than during the day, one of my favorite parts is the change to the pre-show video with Rocket looking for Groot and even a special cameo.
After a few rides and far too many desserts, we wrapped up the night meeting Star-Lord and Gamora as a perfect way to end a perfect meet-up!
