Workout in Disney Style with These Fun Outfits

Traditionally when you have searched for Disney licensed sports and active wear, your choices have been fairly limited. For instance, on shopDisney.com, track jackets, leotards, running shorts and capri pants, are commonly what you would find, all marketed towards young girls. However, during a recent visit to the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs, a store which boasts “new shops, products, and retail concepts being tested…” I found a new line of athletic wear made for women! After all, us grown-up princesses need to work out as well! How else do you think we maintain our figure to fit into those binding ball gowns?

With many different characters to choose from, ranging from the classics Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy, you can also wear other favorites such as Maleficent, the Cheshire Cat and Stitch. It’s hard to pick just one character to represent while you’re sweating away the pounds and building muscle, or ideally running a Disney marathon! The colors are bright, vibrant, and not overdesigned in the least. Perhaps one of the best features is the mix and match option you’re given where you can choose a top and bottom of your choice. Options for tops in this new line include tank tops or short sleeve shirts, and for bottoms you have running pants or skirts. Depending on your comfort level and personal style you will surely find something that speaks to you.

As is the case with many Disney clothing items, this athletic line runs on the higher end of the price spectrum. However, the quality you get is well worth the money. Whether it’s a top or a bottom you desire, the prices range from $45-$65. While the cost might make you take a step back, not only are these clothing items adorable, but the quality of this line is worth every penny. Plus, if you are an Annual Passholder, you can save a few bucks!

The sizes run from XS-3XL, and the material is very soft, comfortable, and has enough stretch to be both forgiving and comfortable. This material flexes with your movements, unlike traditional brands that tend to restrict how you move during a workout. The material is made out of polyester and spandex, which explains the soft to the touch feel as well as the moderate amount of elasticity.

If this line does well I know I personally hope for representations of the Disney princesses in the athletic wear line! How else would I run a Disney Princess 5K, after all?
