The Star Wars universe is a diverse place. Within the galaxy, there are seemingly an endless number of languages spoken, leaving one to wonder how the characters we encounter are able to communicate so easily. Apparently the writers at the late night institution that is Saturday Night Live had the same question and crafted a pre-recorded sketch around the idea. The clip begins with an intro from Force Awakens and Episode IX director J.J. Abrams and features this week’s host Charles Barkley along with some of the show’s main players. Incidentally, the sketch was actually cut from the broadcast, but was posted to SNL’s YouTube account for your enjoyment:
