Disney “Ralph Breaks the Internet” Happy Meals at McDonalds

The next time you visit the golden arches will be extra magical thanks to twelve new Disney toys appearing in Happy Meals nationwide. Disney’s Ralph Breaks the Internet hits theaters November 21st and Happy Meals are celebrating with twelve race car toys based on eleven characters from the film, including two Disney Princesses! Start your engines and race to your nearest McDonalds to collect them all!

There are two versions of Vanellope, in her “Sugar Rush” and “Slaughter Race” cars. Other characters from Ralph’s world include Ralph, Felix, Calhoun, Taffyta, Yesss, Shank, KnowsMore, and Spamley. There are also two OhMyDisney Princesses, Cinderella and Moana. The majority of these characters never drive in the film, making their vehicles rather unique.

Each race car contains 3 wheels and the third in the back continues spinning after you roll the car forward (rather than pulling back to release). Cars that appear to have four wheels actually only contain two in the front and one in the back center, with the visible wheels raised off the ground for show. Each car comes with a sticker sheet with instructions on where to place them. I received the first car in the series, Vanellope in her yellow “Slaughter Race” car, and the headlight stickers were difficult to place due to their small size.

Collecting Disney McDonalds toys was a hobby of mine as a kid and I’m so excited to see Disney and McDonalds partnering again. This is the second collection since their new deal started, following June’s toys based on Incredibles 2. The next major Disney release is Mary Poppins Returns and time will tell if there will be a collection based on the sequel to Walt Disney’s crowning achievement.

The McPlay app allows kids to bring their Ralph Breaks the Internet toys to life with additional games that can be played on a smart phone or tablet. Themed milk bottles and GoGurt packages will offer additional play opportunities in the app. McDonalds Happy Meal campaigns typically only last a few weeks, so don’t wait too long if you want to check out the collection before it races away.
