Video: Newly Remodeled Naples Ristorante E Bar Unveiled at Disneyland Resort

Buon appetito! The highly anticipated redesign and remodel of the popular Naples Ristorante E Bar Italian restaurant and its adjacent Napolini Pizzeria were finally officially unveiled this week after a lengthy refurbishment process in the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

A select group of media were on hand yesterday for the Grand Reveal ceremony, in addition to Disneyland Resort Ambassador Justin Rapp, who introduced Nick Valenti, CEO of Patina Restaurant Group and special guests Chefs Mickey and Goofy for the momentous ribbon-cutting occasion.

“I am delighted to welcome everyone to the new, refreshed Naples and Napolini, with a new design intended to evoke the coastline of the Bay of Naples, Capri and Positano,” said Valenti. “I originally created the Naples concept to showcase the cooking of my native Southern Italy.”

Indeed, once stepping inside the freshly redecorated location (designed by Shea Design), one gets the feeling of crossing a threshold into contemporary Italy. A captivating photograph mural and fire-themed glass tile mosaic line the lower-level walls above the ovens, while an “infinite loop” lighting fixture illuminates the dining area. Upstairs, interesting hand sculptures and body part-focused framed sketches are prominent features, while an outdoor second-level patio is highlighted by a classical-style fountain.

Selections include fresh seafood, build-your-own pizza, and signature pies with region-inspired names like Vesuvio, California, and Capri.

Naples Ristorante E Bar is open for lunch and dinner, with Napolini Pizzeria open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with to-go options at Downtown Disney District. For more information and to make reservations, be sure to visit Disneyland Resort’s official website.
