Get ready to get bad again… One of Disney’s most popular villains is back in live-action form on the big screen this fall in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil starring Angelina Jolie as the title character, and the company just dropped a new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel on its own ABC Network during the popular reality competition series The Bachelorette.
“Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning reprise their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, two characters from the studio’s animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” whose untold story was brought to life on screen in 2014’s Maleficent.”

- The new teaser trailer for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, a sequel to the global box-office hit Maleficent, has arrived.
- The film stars Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted, Changeling) as the title character, reprising her role from the Disney’s 2014 hit Maleficent, alongside Elle Fanning (Super 8, The Neon Demon) who once again plays Princess Aurora.
- The two stars are joined by supporting cast members are joined by supporting actors Michelle Pfeiffer (Queen Ingrith), Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sam Riley (Diaval), Harris Dickinson (Prince Phillip), Ed Skrein, Imelda Staunton (Knotgrass), Juno Temple (Thistlewit), and Lesley Manville (Flittle).
- Maleficent: Mistress of Evil hits theaters on Friday, October 18.
“Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is a fantasy adventure that picks up several years after Maleficent, in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora.
