As “Frozen” Takes the Stage, Aladdin Shares One More “Goodbye”

As you probably know by now, it’s opening day for Frozen — Live at the Hyperion in Disney California Adventure. The show marks the first new production in the theatre in nearly 14 years as Frozen’s beloved predecessor, Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular, had a run that was… well… spectacular. Now one of the actors to take on the title role in DCA’s Aladdin show has released a video saying one last farewell to the show, its cast and crew, and to the fans.

Sam Pablo, who portrayed Aladdin at the Hyperion for 10 years, released a cover of “It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday” (made most famous by Boyz II Men) on his  YouTube channel that also features still and video clips from the show’s run. Take a look:

What do you think? Does this just make you miss Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular even more? Thank goodness for YouTube so we can all still relive it :)
