The Grinch Stops by Universal Orlando’s Call Center to Help Out for the Holidays

Everyone can use a little extra help for the holidays, but when Universal Orlando Resort enlisted the help of the Whos for their call center, they didn’t get exactly what they expected.

Universal Orlando Resort shared a hilarious new video on their Twitter account in which the Whos join the call center team to help out with influx of calls as a result of all of their upcoming holiday events. However, the Whos brought a very special guest with them: the Grinch.

The video parodies popular television shows like The Office and Parks and Recreation, including confessional-style interviews, a cast of wacky characters, deadpan looks directly into the camera and more.

This video is just the first episode of what will apparently be an ongoing series titled “Vacation Call Center.”

Holiday festivities at Universal Orlando Resort will include the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular, in which guests can watch a humorous retelling of the classic Dr. Seuss holiday tale and even meet with the Grinch himself.

Guests can also enjoy Christmas in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in both Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida, including a dazzling projection of holiday spirit as The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts Castle and holiday decorations in both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley.

To top it all off, Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s will bring the holiday spirit to the streets of Universal Studios Florida with floats dedicated to the characters of Despicable Me, Shrek, Madagascar and more. And guests can cap off their holiday celebration with live performances from best-selling holiday artist Mannheim Steamroller.

For more information on the holiday festivities at Universal Orlando or to book your trip now, visit the official Universal Orlando Resort website. And be sure to be on the lookout for the next episode of “Vacation Call Center.”
