EPCOT Welcomes Families of Fallen Heroes During NFL Pro Bowl Week

The park visit was coordinated by the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors

As a part of the NFL Pro Bowl experience, families of fallen military heroes had the opportunity to visit EPCOT.

What’s Happening:

  • Earlier this week, organized by the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and the NFL, family members of fallen military heroes had the opportunity to experience an exclusive pre-opening welcome at EPCOT.

  • This continues the tradition of saluting service members, veterans and their families.
  • This also continues Disney’s work with TAPS, who works on providing compassionate care and comprehensive resources to the loved ones of fallen military heroes.

What They’re Saying:

  • Diana Roday Hosford, TAPS Vice President of Sports & Entertainment: “Today was magical, fun, and filled with surprises for the families of the fallen. These incredible Walt Disney World welcomes have become a tradition for TAPS and being so personal and meaningful, the Disney SALUTE team makes us feel like family. We are so grateful we are able to come to Orlando with the NFL for the Pro Bowl and to bring some of the magic of Disney into this very special weekend.”
