Scaffolding is going up at EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion, where the Mesoamerican pyramid facade appears to be undergoing refurbishment.
What’s Happening:
- Over at EPCOT at Walt Disney World, scaffolding has begun rising at the Mexico Pavilion.
- Located on the left side when entering World Showcase, the pavilion’s iconic Mesoamerican pyramid facade, which houses shopping, dining, and The Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride, is commencing work on the highly detailed exterior.
- Currently, the scaffolding is only on the left backside of the facade, where bright orange mesh can also be seen.
- The extent of the work is unclear, but we imagine additional scaffolding will rise over the next few days.
- Right now at EPCOT, the International Festival of the Arts invites guests to explore the world through art, music, and food. For those looking to head to the park, Laughing Place recommends Mouse Fan Travel for all your experimental prototype vacations of tomorrow.
