Unwrapping Disney Springs for the Holidays

img_7600As Disney Springs heads into its first holiday season, it has really turned into the place to be — almost a fifth theme park where you can spend a day shopping, enjoying some world class food, and of course the some of the best entertainment around.img_7595With shops such as Vera Bradly, Lilly Pulitzer, and UGG in the Town Center area, you only have feet to walk to take care of shopping for the woman in your life.img_7604If you are looking for some great clothing options, SuperDry, Levi’s, and UNIQLO are all right along the beautiful new walkways of Disney Springs.img_7597One of the newest shops of Disney Springs is also celebrating its first permanent location: Origins. img_7596The home of some of the best bath and body, skin care for the entire family, just recently opened with the help of Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario.img_7336After a long day of shopping, one of the main reasons for me to stop at Disney Springs has to be some of the most amazing dinning options. From amazing steak at STK, great pizza at Blaze, or even revisiting a old favorite made new again at Planet Hollywood Observatory opening soon, it is hard to go wrong with over 40 different options. Also I happened to get a early taste of Paddlefish and that will be the place to eat, mark my words!img_7353 img_2242 img_7308Now all of this is a great way to spend a few hours, but without the entertainment and attractions spread all across Disney Springs you wouldn’t need to stick around very long. My favorite thing to do is head up about 400 feet in Characters in Flight and great a great view of really most of Central Florida.img_7300Something that has been missing from Disney Springs has been a “kiss goodnight.” Each of the parks has a fireworks or projection show now, but leave it to the newest area of Walt Disney World to top all of those.img_7367

“Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration” features 300 Intel Shooting Star drones performing on one of the large canvas over Lake Buena Vista to “bring a new layer to the holidays” as Michael Roddy, Show Director for Walt Disney World Creative Entertainment and Imagineering pointed out.

This new holiday presentation takes place over the Westside of the lake and can be seen nightly at 7:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. from November 20th – January 8th.

So be sure to spend some time in Disney Spring on your next Walt Disney World vacation.
