Question: Eric, former Disney employee (Citadel): Sale of ABC Radio was a brilliant move. Very difficult to be a Disney employee one day and not the next day (when Disney sold Citadel). Any plans to release Song of the South given Blu-Ray’s capacity to do any features because of the sensative nature.
Iger: Thank you for not disappointing me as every meeting has a Song of the South question and we were running out of town. We have been considering for years and he’s screened the film twice since becoming CEO. But that’s a film that seems not necessarily in keeping from a value perspective with the values of people today. In other words, there are elements in that film that I think would be considred faily offensive to partso of our population resulting in value lost in the company’s reputation so not currently considering release of the film.
