Start your engines! Disney has officially launched its Split/Second app – available now for the iPhone and iPod touch at $6.99, and coming soon on the iPad. Inspired by the critically acclaimed video game of the same name from Disney Interactive Studios (that also launched today), and developed in conjunction with Black Rock Studios, Split/Second delivers action arcade racing on an epic scale. Set in a TV city that is rigged to blow, you’ll trigger Power Plays to wreck opponents, open short cuts and win the race. To win, you’ll need both speed and strategy because everything can change in a Split/Second!
