Deadline reports the Disney Studios has received a commitment from Sam Raimi for the upcoming Oz: The Great and Powerful. The film is expected to star Robert Downey although he has not finalized an agreement for the project. They also report David Lindsay-Abaire author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Rabbit Hole has joined the project.
