TCM Spring Film Festival in Hollywood To Showcase Disney Classics

The 2011 TCM Classic Film Festival in collaboration with D23, The Official Disney Fan Club will celebrate the Disney Studios’ history of bringing music and film together. The four day festival (April 28 – May 1) held in Hollywood will feature a screening of the recently restored Fantasia (1940), a collection of Silly Symphonies to be introduced by film historian Leonard Maltin, and a special tribute to Disney live-action musicals.

The festival will also present a collection of recently discovered and restored Laugh-O-Grams shorts.
