On Thursday, February 24, 7:30 p.m. the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present Oscar-Nominated Animated Feature Symposium hosted by Tom Sito, animator and animation historian, this symposium celebrates the nominated achievements in the Animated Feature Film category. The nominees (schedules permitting) will discuss their creative process and the development of their films, and present clips illustrating their techniques.
Advance tickets are no longer available. A standby line will form on the day of the event, and standby numbers will be given out starting at approximately 5:30 p.m. The number of stand-by tickets that can be distributed will be determined shortly before the program begins. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. All seating is unreserved.
