Walt Disney World Weather Report for June 6 from @WDW_Weather

Tropical discussion will follow.

Today looks like a good day for a thunderstorm.  With a ridge in place I maybe shouldn’t be saying that but I dare say that today does look and feel like a good day for an afternoon thunderstorm.  There isn’t a whole lot of moisture to work with but there’s enough – and I’m not saying that Walt Disney World will get drenched … but there’s a good chance someone will today. So while National Weather Service looks to be going with near zero chance, I’m going to say we’ve got a good 20 percent chance of thunderstorms today through mid week.

High temperatures won’t be much different from the last few days topping out in the low 90s. There’s really not much more to say than that – sunshine during the morning with clouds building up through the afternoon.  Tropical moisture looks to stream up from Cuba towards the end of the week which will moisten the atmosphere up a bit.

And speaking of the tropics … that disturbance we’ve been keeping our eyes on is still trying to get its act together, but it’s not doing a very good job.  The job it is doing is so poor in fact that the recon mission scheduled for today has been rescheduled for tomorrow.  If things don’t happen in the next 48 hours they won’t because upper levels winds are forecast to become a bit too much for this thing to deal with.  That said, plenty of flooding rains will impact some areas.  As always I will keep you ahead of the storm as they say all hurricane season long @WDW_Weather posting updates all day as needed.
