Expect temperatures to be and feel a little warmer today than they have the last couple of days with plenty of sunshine until early afternoon. Lack of a defined sea breeze will not hamper thunderstorm development today I’ll tell you that as there is plenty of moisture to work with in the atmosphere. Wishes was delayed twice in the last week and I wouldn’t be surprised to see it happen again. A disturbance will be pushing towards us which will help to fire storms up today and tomorrow. Long story short expect rain and you won’t be caught by surprise – if I had to put it into percentages – I’d go with 60 percent or even 70 percent for afternoon storms today.
High temperatures will top out in the mid 90s with heat indexes of roughly 103-105. Drink plenty of water.
