Anyone reading this who happens to live around the Outer Banks MUST make preparations to evacuate. Mother Nature seems to have spared the Disney area, but it looks more and more like those along the east coast of the US will not be so lucky. If you live on the Outer Banks make your preparations now – not later.
As for the short term – Drier air is moving into the area which should keep rain chances lower than they have been in the past couple of days – making this after the past few afternoons your best water park day as thunderstorm chances increase as we head towards the weekend.
Temperatures will remain hot in the mid 90s today but will back off a bit tomorrow and Thursday…added cloud cover is one of the reasons for that.
