Intrada’s latest release in their Disney partnership is the first ever CD of John Barry’s score to “The Black Hole”
The old LP program has been available on iTunes for a couple years, but this new CD is digitally remastered and adds 20 minutes of additional music. They are also promising extensive liner notes by Disney Records producer Randy Thornton and film music historian Jeff Bond.
Unlike many Intrada releases, this one isn’t a limited edition, which means it should be around for a while. Here is the link to the ordering page. On their unlimited releases, Intrada often keeps an exclusive for soundtrack specialty stores for a month or two before releasing to general retailers like Amazon.
