First thing’s first – I would be remiss if I did not wish everyone a happy FIRST DAY of FALL! Now – this may be one of those first days you would all like to forget because don’t let the sun fool you this morning – it’s going to rain and potentially rain HARD!
The wet pattern setting up that I’ve been mentioning all week is upon us and I’d up the ante from 50 to 60 percent for a good chance of rain this afternoon. Like I said you can get a couple good hours in – but with easterly flow in effect showers will pop along the east coast sea breeze and they will be moving towards us throughout the early afternoon. You can then expect a similar encore performance most of the weekend before things look to dry out a bit heading into next week.
High temperatures through the weekend will top out in the low 90s. Have a great weekend – and keep those ponchos handy!
